Victor Lindelof has discussed his relationship with Jose Mourinho after struggling to win a regular place in the Manchester United team.
The Sweden centre-half joined United from Benfica in a £31million deal in summer but he was made to wait until last weekend’s victory over Newcastle for his first Premier League start.
Despite being introduced gradually to the team, Lindelof insists he is enjoying life at United under Mourinho.
“He’s a very good coach, in my opinion the best in the world, and for me to be able to work with him is a pleasure,” he told United Review.
“All of the staff and coaches as well, they are great and I am learning a lot from them. I’m just trying to do my best to work hard every day and listen to them because they know a lot about football, so it’s about listening and learning.”
