Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea believes the club are confident heading into this weekend’s all-important derby clash with Manchester City.
The Red Devils are eight points behind the league leaders as they prepare to meet for the first time this season.
United’s 3-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday was their fourth in a row – the first time they’ve achieved the feat this season – which has provided Jose Mourinho’s side with plenty of confidence heading into Saturday’s clash with their undefeated neighbours.
“We’re really happy. I think they were both very tough games away from home so we now have confidence to play the last Champions League group game and after that, the derby,” said De Gea.
“We’re really confident now, we score many goals and this is the key as we look forward to the next game.”
