Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Manchester United have a real surprise packet on their hands with Marcus Rashford.
The 18-year-old scored a quick first-half double and provided a second-half assist as United defeated the Gunners 3-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday, prompting words of praise from Wenger.
“The player who was surprising for me talent-wise was Rashford because of the timing of his movement and his intelligence,” said Wenger.
“His movement in the box was great and he could be a very positive surprise for Manchester United on what I’ve seen today.”
Rashford has now scored four goals in two starts for the Red Devils, following his brace on debut in Thursday’s 5-1 win over FC Midtjylland.
