Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has heaped praise on Manchester United loanee James Wilson after the striker scored the winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Reading on Tuesday.
The result lifted Albion into second place in the Championship and earned Wilson the approval of his manager.
“It was a good finish from James at the end of a really good break. But that is what James can do. He is settled in here and he is enjoying it here,” Hughton said.
“He is getting used to what the Championship is and that was probably a typical championship game today. He worked hard and he was still running strong at the end.
“James has bit stop-start since joining us, but he has been involved and he’s getting used to the level of what the Championship is. It was a good, fast attack that led to the goal and it was James’ best all round 90 minutes for us.”
Since arriving at the Amex in November, 20-year-old Wilson has scored four goals in eight starts for the Seagulls.
