Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez is happy for Marcus Rashford over his emergence at Manchester United.
The United wonderkid has burst onto the scene with four goals in his first two senior games for the Reds and was voted the clubs player of the month for February.
Chicharito, who spent five years at Old Trafford, until leaving for German outfit Bayer Leverkusen last August has urged for patience among the supporters.
“I’m very glad for him as he’s very young and he’s been in a very good run of form.
“Having scored four goals in two games, two very important games for United, but hopefully all the fans don’t judge him like they can Wayne Rooney because he is only 18-year-old and he is trying to do his best,” he told BBC’s Football Focus.
“I think it’s a good start for him, every footballer wants to start their professional career like how he is doing.”
