Everton boss Roberto Martinez remains hopeful of keeping Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian attacker has scored 25 goals already this campaign and Manchester United and Juventus have been linked with a swoop.
Martinez said: “These next two months are going to be so important because we are working towards achieving something and from window-to-window we have to make decisions to achieve that.”
“At the moment the attention is rightly on someone who is scoring goals and performing very well.”
“I still think Rom’s best years are ahead of him and we should concentrate more on the next two months.”
“Rom wants to be important and he is important to our team. He is talking about aspirations and that is what we want at Everton – to be in the Champions League and win titles.”
“We share our ambitions. The aspiration of Romelu Lukaku is the aspiration of Everton.”
“We don’t have to cash in and we showed that last summer with John (Stones). That was a clear example and in the summer we are going to make decisions in the same way.”
