Manchester United youngster Anthony Martial says that he is slowly but surely adjusting to life in Manchester following his summer move from Monaco.
The 20-year old reveals that he is a reserved person and likes to spend time with his family but is becoming used to life as a professional footballer in the city of Manchester.
He told Inside United: “I’m quite a reserved person, a bit shy at first when I don’t know someone.”
“I like to have a laugh and a joke, people have seen that in me. But, yes, I’m fairly quiet and I love spending time with my family.”
“What do I do away from football? Go out for walks, go out to a restaurant. Marouane [Fellaini] has given me loads of restaurants to visit! I’ve tried them and then chosen the best ones.
“The weather here is quite a lot different to Monaco and the food is not quite the same.”
“But it’s down to me to adapt to the country I have chosen to come to. And currently it’s all going well.”
“I’m here with my partner and I’ve got a little girl. The club have helped me a lot in this area so now I’m really settled in where I live – although now it’s a little more difficult to go out as people recognise me more. Maybe I should put on a baseball cap!
“So I prefer to stay in at home more. But, yes, I feel like I’ve settled in well to life here.”
