Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is happy for Anthony Martial over his success at Manchester United.
For their Europa League tie, Lovren is looking forward to coming face-to-face with former team-mate Martial, who broke into the Lyon team at the age of just 17.
He said: “I played with him for a couple of years in France, he was with me at Lyon but he wasn’t like he is today.
“He is one of the key players in Manchester United – he has every quality to play in the best league in the world.
We’re confident we can beat them though. But first it’s Palace and if we can keep the form going then it is a good step up before United.”
