Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku says he is in regular contact with Premier League greats Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba.
At 25, the Belgium international – who has come in for some criticism this season – has already scored 105 goals in the Premier League, passing Drogba’s total of 104 in the process.
In comparison Harry Kane is on 113, slightly ahead of Lukaku, while legends Henry and all-time leading Premier League goalscorer Alan Shearer have 175 and 260 goals respectively.
And Lukaku has revealed that he communicates with Drogba and Henry on a regular basis.
“[Drogba and I] speak every day and it’s really nice because he’s been part of the process,” Lukaku told Manchester United’s official website.
“Now I’m talking to Thierry Henry saying ‘I’m coming for you’ on 175!
“I’m laughing saying it to him but, deep down, inside he knows I’m dead serious!”
