Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was thrilled for his players following the 5-1 Europa League domination of FC Midtjylland at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
The Dutchman was particularly impressed with Memphis Depay who produced an impressive performance which he capped with his the fifth goal for the Red Devils.
“I’m very happy for him,” van Gaal said, when asked about Depay who has struggled overall since his summer move from PSV Eindhoven.
“He needs this kind of match. He played fantastic.”
“He can play fantastic, so maybe it’s a turning point for him, you never know.”
“I hope that with all my heart, but we have to wait and see and Arsenal is another level.”
