Jose Mourinho calls up three U18s to first team

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has called up three U18 players to train with the first team this week.

Teenagers Callum Gribbin, Mason Greenwood and James Thompson were all involved in the session at the AON training complex ahead of Jose Mourinho’s side’s first away trip of the season.

Gribbin and Greenwood have both been involved with the first team before with the pair training with the senior squad at times previously.

Academy goalkeeper Thompson has also been called up to train with the first team squad with Sergio Romero still sidelined with an injury.

Kieran O’Hara’s loan move to Macclesfield Town was confirmed earlier this week and with the U23s playing on Friday night Matej Kovar was unavailable for the session.
