Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants their clash with Chelsea to be postponed.
The Times says the Portuguese is unhappy with the date for the Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge because his players would have less than 72 hours to recover from European duty.
The match between the two clubs is likely to take place on Sunday 23 October.
And despite Mourinho’s concerns, it’s claimed United are resigned to facing their league rivals on that date.
The exact date for the fixture has yet to be finalised as it falls outside the first selection of television matches.
But a combination of the Europa League and the League Cup leaves the Premier League with few alternative options.
