Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is resisting bank-busting offers from China.
The People says Rooney has snubbed TWO approaches from Chinese Super League teams – because he wants to stay at Old Trafford.
The Manchester United skipper and long-time agent Paul Stretford have received several inquiries from mega-rich Asian clubs – and all have been politely rebuffed.
United last week took the unusual step of denying a Chinese Super League team had made a £27million bid for their captain and Rooney’s camp say the star isn’t interested in leaving.
Rooney insists he’s fully committed to United and intends to stay until at least 2018 to fulfil his ambition of lifting a trophy this season and breaking Bobby Charlton’s all-time scoring record.
