Wayne Rooney has revealed he has plans to get into football management once his playing days are over.
The Manchester United captain took part in a Facebook live Q&A alongside teammate Ashley Young from the team hotel in Beijing when he said he wants to step into the coaching and managerial caper when he hangs up the boots.
“I would like to be manager when I finish playing,” Rooney said.
“Football is what I’ve done my whole life. I’m currently in the process of taking my coaching badges so hopefully when I finish playing I’ll have that complete.”
