Manchester United defender Blind happy for kids debut

Manchester United defender Daley Blind is happy for the club’s youngsters over their first team breakthrough.

Blind has seen several young teammates make their debut this season and is impressed with their contributions so far.

He told United review: “They are doing well. Marcus Rashford had a spectacular debut, of course, but Joe Riley also did a great job at left-back.

“Before that game a lot of youngsters made their debuts and it is good to see they are close to the first team.

“We can count on them when we need them,”

“Of course, you want to help them when you can. It’s a new experience for most of the youngsters.”

“When you’re a bit more experienced, you try to help them where possible and talk them through it, giving advice when they need it.”
