Manchester United have confirmed that Swiss luxury watchmaker Tag Heuer has become the club’s official timekeeper on a three-year deal.
The deal makes the LVMH-owned brand a global partner of Manchester United, and its branding will feature around the Old Trafford stadium throughout the Premier League seasons from the forthcoming 2015/16 campaign until the end of 2018/19.
Additionally, bespoke time pieces will be on display around Old Trafford, the club’s Carrington training ground and their offices in Manchester, London and Hong Kong.
“In Tag Heuer, we have a partner that will naturally be well-equipped to support us, not least because we share so much,” said Manchester United’s group managing director Richard Arnold.
“Our rich history can be traced back to the same era; we’ve both overcome challenges and come out stronger in our quest for the highest level of performance. Our prestige is down to our unrelenting commitment to be pioneers.”
