Manchester United legend Scholes: It’s nothing personal with Van Gaal

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes insists he has no grudge against Louis van Gaal.

The ex midfielder has criticized United’s style of play under Van Gaal’s leadership this campaign.

“People keep saying I’ve been critical of the current “regime”. It’s not the regime I’ve had a go at,” he told United We Stand.

“I’ve criticised the style of play. I’m not arsed who the manager is, it’s irrelevant really.

“I just want to see a Manchester United team play football the way a Manchester United team should do and that hasn’t happened.”

“I don’t care who the manager is, whether it’s Louis van Gaal or Ryan Giggs or whatever.”
