Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is expecting a March comeback to first-team action.
The German international is still recovering from a knee injury after making his last appearance in the FA Cup win over Sheffield United on January 9 but suggests he should be ready for action sometime next month.
“I should be completely back on board in March,” he told Bild.
“Unless the European Championships is suddenly brought forward to the start of March, then it looks good.
“A medial ligament tear takes time, but everything is healing well. I know my body, everything will be ok.
“In about five days, I’ll begin to start running again and five days after that I should be training with a ball again.”
