Manchester United have lost almost $1 BILLION in value since the appointment of Louis van Gaal reports the Mirror.
The Dutchman moved to Old Trafford in the summer of 2014, replacing former boss David Moyes.
His first game in charge was a 7-0 friendly win over LA Galaxy on July 24 2014 as the club embarked on their pre-season tour.
But since the clash in the States, it has been revealed over $1billion has been wiped off the club’s share price value.
Analysts suggested splashing out on expensive players and subsequent failures on the pitch had a detrimental effect.
