Man Utd to make more appointments after Neilsen addition

Manchester United’s appointment of new scout Tommy Moller Nielsen is the latest of several pending additions to the talent spotting team.

The Mail says Nielsen – a Dane who also spent a year at Aberdeen – signed with United as the eyes and ears in Scandinavia.

United are set to make upwards of 15 new appointments in their scouting division after a review into the club’s structure.

That was ordered by executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward with head of development John Murtough filing the findings.

There remains a raft of jobs unfilled across Europe as United look to wrestle back their power in landing some of the continent’s elite teenagers.
