With two assists and a man of the match display in Manchester United’s FA Cup 1-3 win at Derby County, Marouane Fellaini, who himself has been criticized for his performances this season, suggested that Anthony Martial has still a lot of work to do in order to become a Barclays Premier League great.
Playing in thePremier League since 2008, the former-Everton man offered Martial his advice based on his experience.
The Belgian international thinks that Martial “can be a good player, but he must improve”.
The French international has recorded five goals and two assists in the league so far this season as Fellaini thinks that “Anthony has a lot of quality; he is quick, a good dribbler and always dangerous.”
“He is young and has to keep going, learn every day and he will be a good player.”
Anthony Martial has introduced himself well in the Premier League this season, as the man himself has recorded more successful take ons (52) than club captain Wayne Rooney (11) but Fellaini’s main concern is the Frenchman’s performances for the coming seasons.
The Belgian international thinks that Martial “must train hard and keep going as next season will be more difficult because the Premier League will know him. But he has the quality to be a success.”
