Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is firmly of the belief that that youngster Marcus Rashford is an enormously exciting prospect for the club.
The 18-year-old has exploded onto the scene by scoring braces in his first two senior appearances against FC Midtjylland and Arsenal.
French midfielder Schneiderlin has compared Rashford’s rapid-fire beginning to his United career to that of Anthony Martial who marked his start to life at Old Trafford with early goals against Liverpool and Southampton.
“It is amazing for him,” Schneiderlin told MUTV.
“He reminds me a bit of Anthony, the way that he started, scoring against Liverpool and against Southampton. It is the same for Marcus; he is a very good player.
“He didn’t train [with the first team] many times, but when he did train we could see straight away that he had this quality.
“He showed it again on Sunday and I hope he continues like that because he is an exciting prospect for the football club.”
