Jose Mourinho has heaped praise on Manchester United’s big-name signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Swedish striker joined United on a free transfer from PSG on Friday and brings with him to Old Trafford no less than 11 league titles and a plethora of other trophies and individual awards.
Ibrahimovic and Mourinho previously worked together at Inter Milan and the Portuguese is excited to again team up with the 34-year-old superstar who is still in career-best form, evidenced by his 38 goals on Ligue 1 last season as PSG stormed to the French title.
“Zlatan is Zlatan. He wins year after year,” Mourinho told MUTV.
“His records are absolutely amazing. His passion for the game is incredible.
“A man of his age, with his CV, to make at this stage of his career to come for the biggest challenge of his career [at] the biggest club he’s ever played for, and the most difficult competition he has ever played for.
“He is an amazing player. And I think this is a beautiful thing, when you coach a player and a few years later you have him again.
