Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was delighted with two youngsters after their friendly win at Wigan Athletic.
Mourinho piled praise on Manchester United young gun Axel Tuanzebe after his performance in Saturday’s win at Wigan.
Asked about young players taking their chances, Mourinho said: “You can play 90 minutes or 1 minute. Sometimes 1 minute is enough.
“With Axel, ten minutes is enough! The potential is there, you see it immediately.
“You know him better than me because you know him for a few years but if anyone sees him for the first time, ten minutes is enough to see the potential.”
Andreas Pereira scored the second goal – lashing home from a set-piece routine – after Will Keane had tapped in the opener and overall the manager was pleased with the effort of his young players.
“Andreas has an amazing talent, he has incredible vision and incredible technique.
“I’ve just spoke about two but the reality is that the kids without pressure in the calm environment – in a cool situation for them rather than the fire – was very good for them and very good for me to see what they can do.”
