Manchester United legend Gary Pallister believes that striker Anthony Martial could prove to be a potent weapon for United in the second leg of their Europe League tie with Liverpool.
The Red Devils lost the first leg 2-0 at Anfield last week and will need to better that result at Old Trafford on Thursday to progress to the last-eight of the competition.
For Louis van Gaal’s men to do that, Martial holds the key according to Pallister.
Pallister said: “There’s huge expectation on Martial but he’s got that pace and you can see defenders are worried when he’s on the ball, especially when he’s got big enough space to run at them.
“He’s got a fear factor for a lot of defenders and he’s got the strength as well. He’s by no means the finished product and he’s still got much to learn but with the pace and physicality he’s got makes it ideal for him.”
