Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles is full of praise for Manchester United counterpart David de Gea.
The pair came through the system at Atletico Madrid.
As he does with every opposing keeper, Robles will go through De Gea’s style, strengths and weaknesses with Romelu Lukaku and the other Everton forwards in the hope it may give them an attacking edge.
“I’ll help my team-mates. It is important,” he says.
“I’ll give suggestions which is the best way to shoot. It can be different depending on the goalkeeper. I’ll do it with David, but it’s not just him. I will talk about any goalkeeper we are playing.”
“David is my mate. I’ve known him since we were 16 at the academy at Atletico Madrid and we see each other in Manchester, go out for Spanish food or to watch football on TV. But I like to win. The most important thing for me on Sunday is my team.”
