Louis van Gaal says he’ll consider his position at Manchester United this summer.
The Dutchman’s position at Old Trafford is back on the rocks after defeats at West Brom and Liverpool left United struggling to finish in the top four of the Premier League and on the brink of Europa League elimination.
He said: “I am always evaluating myself so that is not a problem.
“But I cannot discuss this question with you at the moment. The FA Cup can save the season, the Europa League can also save my season, and a position in the top four can also save my season.
“It is still possible. It is very difficult, I know that, but it is still possible.
“Now, when you lose a game, it is a disaster.
“But this is a sport where you can lose and you can win.
“I have been told by the media that I am getting the sack for the last three months.
“But I am still in three competitions – and a lot of colleagues cannot say that at this stage of the season.”
