Bookies Ladbrokes have stopped taking bets on Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United.
Despite claims of Juventus rejecting a £100 million bid from United today for the Frenchman, Ladbrokes experts are convinced it’s a done deal.
This comes after a picture of Jose Mourinho’s tactics board yesterday seemed to show Pogba’s name next to Marouane Fellaini’s in midfield.
United have had a hectic summer and look to have added another huge name to their teamsheet with Pogba now just 6/5 to start their first league game of the season, while it’s 4/1 for him to begin that match alongside Fellaini.
Punters anticipating an earlier move can get 6/4 on the Frenchman starting in the Community Shield against Leicester City.
Ladbrokes News’ Alex Apati said, “As far as we’re concerned all bets are off when it comes to Pogba making the move to United. The betting suggests he could make an immediate impact as United start what many believe will be a title-winning season.”
