Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves is backing their move for Juventus star Paul Pogba.
United are on the brink of signing the Frenchman for a world record fee.
Hargreaves said: “Yeah, I think it would be close – he’s literally that good.
“But It’s not just about one player. Last year we saw Leicester win the Premier League title.
“They played as a team and complimented each other, It’s not all about individuals.
“But these elite players are what the club and supporters are used to – star players who make a difference.
“The most important thing is the balance of the football club.
“I think that having signed a centre-back to go with one of the best goalkeepers in the world and a new striker – United are going to be close to winning the title this season.”
