Unnamed Premier League club' make £72M James offer

A unnamed Premier League has bid £72 million for Real Madrid outcast James Rodriguez.

Marca says one Prem outfit has put a bid on the table, with Manchester United, Chelsea and even West Ham all keen.

A huge offer from England has been submitted and that the rise to prominence of Marcos Asensio could force Real to sell him.

Asensio is seen as more versatile option to Rodriguez and some of Real’s other midfielders and Zidane is said to be keen to give the 20-year-old a big role this season.

Zidane and president Florentino Perez are reportedly in agreement that their squad is bloated and needs to be trimmed down.
