Manchester United are interested in Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
The Times says United will have to pay £30m if they want to sign Vardy.
The record-breaking forward signed a new three-and-a-half year deal last month which included a buyout clause.
The England international was tracked by both United and Chelsea during the January transfer window after helping fire Leicester to the top of the table.
Should United revive their interest in the summer, it is likely they will need to be able to offer Champions League football to persuade Vardy to swap the King Power Stadium for Old Trafford.
