Manchester United to pay £47m for Benfica starlet Renato Sanches

Manchester United have been ordered to stump up around £47million (€60m) if they want to sign Renato Sanches from Benfica.

According to The Telegraph, the Portuguese giants are demanding an enormous fee for the 18-year-old which could include an upfront payment of £30m.

The Red Devils have been watching the talented midfielder for some time now and are believed to be prepared to make an offer ahead of the summer transfer window but it is understood that he will not come cheaply.

Sanches has broken into Benfica’s first team this season and has impressed so much in his box-to-box role that he has caught the attention of the Old Trafford outfit who feel he is the most exciting youngster to come out of Portugal since Cristiano Ronaldo
