Real Madrid rejected the chance to sign Paul Pogba for FREE, it has been revealed.
AS says the France midfielder was offered to the La Liga giants for FREE when he decided to leave Manchester United on a Bosman switch four years ago.
But Galactico president Florentino Perez vetoed a move, saying he would be more interested if the starlet cost £100million.
Pogba has since won four consecutive Serie A titles with Juventus and now has a whopping NINE-FIGURE price-tag.
Bernabeu boss Zinedine Zidane has instructed Perez he wants the powerhouse star to join the European champions this summer – but they look set to be beaten to a world-record swoop.
United are also ready to swallow their pride and break the bank for the player, who was only handed three Premier League appearances during his spell with the club.
