Harry Redknapp is of the belief that Manchester United will sign Gareth Bale.
The former Tottenham boss, who managed the Welsh wiz from 2008 to 2012, has a feeling that some strings are being pulled to get Bale from Real Madrid to Old Trafford.
Redknapp told the London Evening Standard: “Gareth Bale leaving Real Madrid for Manchester United could just happen.
“I just get a feeling that somebody over here is driving that move.”
Redknapp also feels that if 26-year-old winger Bale was to grace United with his presence, Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils would have fantastic chance to win the Premier League title.
“If he went to United this month, they would suddenly have a realistic chance of winning the title because he could go there and score 15 goals in the second half of the season,” he added.
“There aren’t many players in the world who can have that kind of impact but Gareth is one of them.”
Former QPR and West Ham United boss Redknapp further added: “It (the prospect of a transfer) keeps coming up and it wouldn’t surprise me, given he’s never truly settled there and can’t speak the language very well.”
