Juventus coach Max Allegri is HELPING Manchester United close their deal for Paul Pogba, it has been revealed.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Pogba touched down in the UK yesterday and will today complete his move to United.
The report says Allegri’s comments yesterday about Pogba expected for training were merely a smokescreen.
When asked about the 23-year-old’s future, Allegri said: “There’s no point in discussing replacements because right now he’s a Juventus player.
“I called up Pogba so he’ll be in Vinovo [Juve’s training base] for training on Monday.”
But it is said the Frenchman was already aboard the plane from America and touched down in the UK in the late afternoon.
It’s claimed the flight was kept ‘strictly secret’ to keep journalists and fans at bay.
