Timothy Fosu’s agent Jonathan Barnett has rebuffed claims his client will exit Old Trafford this summer.
The Dutch defender enjoyed his first-team debut in a 3-2 victory over Arsenal in February under Louis Van Gaal.
The 18-year-old joined the Red Devils from Ajax’s academy two seasons ago, and impressed in his debut campaigns with United’s youth teams.
The Mail reported Van Gaal’s successor, Jose Mourinho plans to let nine first-team squad members leave the club in the summer transfer window as part of a wide shake-up and Fosu-Mensah happens to be one of the names.
However, Fosu’s agent has rubbished the claims.
“There is no truth in it. These reports are complete rubbish.” Barnett told IBTimes UK exclusively
