Louis van Gaal is backing Manchester United’s move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Mirror says Van Gaal is laying down ambitious plans for next season – despite not knowing if he’ll still be boss.
Everton hitman Romelu Lukaku and Aubameyang are the two strikers Van Gaal wants.
Lukaku last month admitted he wanted a big move while Aubameyang has been on United’s radar for a while. Both are valued at around £50m.
They could be joined at Old Trafford by Benfica’s teenage midfield sensation Renato Sanches.
The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in world football and has a £55m price-tag on his head.
